McCombie Announces Local School District Library Grants

Today, State Representative Tony McCombie (IL-71) announced over $16,000 will be awarded from IL Secretary of State Jesse White’s School Library Grant program to a dozen local school districts. School districts that applied for the grant are awarded at least $750 to improve their library.


IHMVCU to award $29K in scholarships with $10K as top prize

IHMVCU wants to help students reduce their student loan debt by offering a $10,000 scholarship to an undergraduate, graduate or vocational/technical school student who stands out in the class room and stands up in their community.

Food Pantry Honoree

The Prophetstown-Lyndon Food Pantry recently honored one of its volunteers.  Illene Howlett, who served at the pantry for fourteen years, was recognized by other volunteers with a cake.


PHS Receives Donations
