Eclipse Square Dressed For The Season (photos)

A small army descended on Eclipse Square in Prophetstown on Wednesday afternoon to help get the park looking sharp for the summer.  Larry Van Dyke had put out the call on Tuesday for volunteers to help spread mulch around the growing areas of the memorial park.

The students and staff at Prophetstown High School raised the bar again during their 3rd annual HOPE Week as they collected over $6,200 for Cancer research.

Due to a cancellation in their schedule PHS and PLTMS students were treated to a 90 minute show by the MWAH! performing arts troupe on Monday. 

Blessing Of The Tractors Held

In the kind of weather that even farmers wouldn't be out working in, Pastor Jan Shaulis held a blessing of the farmers, the land, and the tractors on Saturday at the Gail and Janet Goodell farm southwest of Prophetstown.
