A Tribute To Rita WannemacherDecember 03, 2017
Submitted by Tracy Wannemacher
When I think of Gram (Rita Wannemacher) I think of kindness, love, humble, generosity, insightful, caring, and her Wisdom. I also think about her love for Grandpa, her passion for reading, her dedication to her church and to her friends, her gentle eyes, the love for the kids she taught, high school sports, the green phone in her kitchen, the noisy candy dish, ping pong, Persian Torte Cake, and the love she had for her family.
I am positive God found a special spot for this beautiful soul. Pastor Danny Wright will be sharing a memory or 2 of gram on December 24, during the regular service at the Zion United Methodist Church in Hooppole. The service starts at 8 a.m. All are welcome. Please invite anyone who knew Gram.
There is also a memorial fund in honor and memory of Gram to support the church of which she was a lifelong member. One of Gram’s favorite prayers was the Serenity Prayer; God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things that I can; and Wisdom to know the difference.
