Lady Cardinals Beat Rams

The Lady Cardinals continue to play well as the took down Riverdale 41-35 on Monday night in Erie.  The Cards got out to an 11 point halftime lead and held on for the win.  

 

The Redbirds made the game much closer than it should have been as they went to the charity stripe 31 times in the gamed but hit only connected on 15. (48%)  The Cardinals had 20 of the chances in the 4th quarter hitting just 9.

 

Whitney Bramm continues to have the hot hand for Erie as she dropped 16 on the visitors with Jenna Saad hitting 11, including 2, 3-pointers.

 

Brooke Smeltzy had 10 for the Rams. 

 

The Cardinals will play in the Lena-Winslow Tournament on Saturday.
