The Sauk Valley CEO class held their annual class event March 8th at the Holloway Center in Dixon. The theme was, “A Taste of Sauk Valley”, at which 12 local food vendors provided small samples of their cuisine to guests.

The CEO students were excellent hosts and hostesses, and over 300 people attended the event. Over half of the Prophetstown High School staff and administration were at the event supporting the Prophetstown CEO students, which speaks highly to their dedication to kids.

The Palmyra Pub was one of 12 restaurants that
participated in the CEO Taste of Sauk Valley.

The three PHS students who are part of the CEO program this year are Kade Kovarik, Jasmine Haggard  and Kallie Timmons who was co-chair of the event.

CEO is a group of high school juniors and seniors from eight schools in the area, ,which gain entrepreneurial knowledge and life skills while becoming educated on the caliber of businesses that exist in the Sauk Valley area.
