08:07 AM April 30, 2018

Tomorrow and Wednesday three Prophetstown High School students will arrive at the pinnacle of their CEO experience as they unveil their business creations at the Northland Mall.

Jasmine Haggard, Kade Kovarik, and Kallie Timmons are this year's PHS participants in the the CEO (Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities) program.

The group which includes about twenty students from area high schools, meet each morning with area business owners to learn the ins and outs of the business world. Their culminating project is to start a small business and sell the products or services to the public over two days.

Haggard's business is called "Petite Pals", which are a variety of succulents that are sold in custom made containers. Timmons will be looking for children to participate in her theater arts camp and Kovarik has designed a mobile snow cone business called "Quacked Ice."

The students will show off their business at the mall from 4:30-8:00 on Tuesday and 4:30-7:00 on Wednesday.
