Prophets Fall At HallDecember 02, 2017
The Prophets dug themselves into a hole on Friday night and did not have enough to climb all the way out as the lost to Hall on the road Friday night 65-60.
The Prophets trailed 33-27 at halftime and 52-40 after the third quarter. They made a run in the fourth outscoring the Red Devils by 8, but came up just short.
Logan Henrekin had 25 points to lead all scorers. Harrison Ames added 12 with Sam Jones getting 8 and Eric Robinson dropping in 7.
Coach Patrick Henrekin comments: "I thought we came out and competed tonight. With the exception of some uncharacteristic turnovers against their 2-3 and the poor stretch early in the 3rd quarter, our players really got after it. I told them that we dug ourselves into too big of a hole coming out of halftime. I was very proud of the way that we were able to chip away at the lead and make a game of it at the end. We met two out of the three keys for the game tonight, but still have not managed to get three guys into double figures. Logan's been averaging 22 ppg thus far, but we need a little bit more out of a few others. Overall, I was happy with the performance and I really think that we are going to be a tough out for anyone once we get our full team together."
The Prophets play their first home game of the season on Tuesday against Princeton.
The Frosh-Soph team will compete in the Warkins Tournament in Erie on Saturday and Monday.
