Taste of Sauk ValleyFebruary 05, 2018
Submitted by Kade Kovarik
We are members of the WACC CEO class of 2017-2018. The mission of our class, a group of high school juniors and seniors from eight schools in the area, is to gain entrepreneurial knowledge and life skills while becoming educated on the caliber of businesses that exist in the Sauk Valley area. Each year, our class is in charge of orchestrating a business that generates seed money for the individual businesses we create closer to the end of the school year.
This year, for the first time, our class is putting on the Taste of Sauk Valley, an event created to spread awareness of restaurants in the area and to provoke a unique type of community involvement.
Prophetstown High School has three seniors who are part of the program: Kade Kovarik, Jasmine Haggard, and Kallie Timmons
