“Everyone at The Dixon Historic Theatre is deeply disappointed we won’t be able to host such an iconic rockstar this month, but we wish Adrian a speedy recovery and the rest of his tour well; we look forward to having them at The Dixon as soon as schedules permit,” said Executive Director Spencer Aurand.
Patrons who have already purchased tickets for the Aug. 15 performance will be able to use those same tickets when the concert is rescheduled.
In the meantime, the theatre will offer complimentary tickets to select fall productions for patrons who choose to hold onto their Vandenberg tickets. For information about the complimentary ticket offer or the rescheduled tour date, contact The Dixon Historic Theatre Box Office at 815-508-6324 or email Box Office Manager Quinn Magne at quinn.magne@dixontheatre.com.
Patrons who would prefer a refund should contact the box office before Aug. 15 to have the refund processed. Refunds cannot be issued after the originally scheduled event date and can only be processed using the original payment method. Patrons who choose to receive a refund will not be eligible for the complimentary ticket offer and will need to purchase new tickets when the concert is rescheduled.
The Dixon Historic Theatre thanks its supporters and patrons for their patience and understanding.
Last week, Adrian Vandenberg released a statement announcing that he had been advised by medical specialists to postpone the upcoming U.S. tour while recovering from a bacterial infection. He stated that he is receiving treatment, his recovery is progressing in the right direction, and that tour management and his U.S. booking agency are working to reschedule the tour. Updates will be shared as they become available.
