The free community event will offer families an afternoon of fun, including a balloon artist, face painting, Touch-a-Trucks, plane simulators, exhibits, and community resources while also providing an opportunity to meet their local legislators. Refreshments and snacks will be served throughout the event.
“As a dad of five, I know how important it is to get the kids out of the house and spend time together as a family,” Senator Arellano said. “This event is a chance to do just that while also getting to know your local legislators. Whether you have questions about what’s happening in Springfield or just want to stop by and have a good time, I hope you’ll join us!”
“I hope people will come out and enjoy everything the event has to offer,” Senator Anderson said. “It’ll be a great afternoon, and we’re excited to spend some time with the families we represent.”
“Please come join us for end-of-summer family fun at a great local landmark,” said Rep. Ryan Spain.
“Please join us for a wonderful afternoon of activities and explore the Wheels O’ Time Museum with the whole family,” stated Rep. Weaver. “We look forward to seeing everyone and enjoying a fun day!”
