 Online entries are now being accepted for the 148th Annual Whiteside County Fair, which runs August 14th – 18th.

According to Prophetstown Police a person or persons entered The Johnson Service Center located at 320 Locust St. between 11:00 p.m Tuesday, July 3 and 11:00 a.m July 4. 

Prophetstown Fireworks Preview

Today kicks off the activities for the annual Prophetstown 4th of July celebration.  After a flooded park caused a cancellation of the fireworks and several other events to be altered last year, it will be business as usual in 2018.

HWY 30 Work To Begin

The Illinois Department of Transportation announces today that pavement patching on Lincoln Way (U.S. 30) from Hillandale Court to Bartlet Street in Morrison will begin on Monday, July 9, weather permitting.
