Binion Headed To Playoffs (video)

Former EP Panther Dylan Binion has found his stride during his sophomore season with the Wartburg College Football Knights,   Binion became the 17th player in program history to achieve the 1,000 yard, season rushing mark and the first since 2014.


The former all-stater has rushed for 1,107 yards and 12 touchdowns to go along with 100 yards and one touchdown receiving.  He helped lead the Knights to 10-0 regular season record and their first playoff appearance since 2014.  The 6 foot 210 pound running back averaged 6.4 yards per carry during the season with a season high 187 yards against Dubuque. 


Wartburg averages 38 points per game while holding their opponents to 15.  The team will host Franklin College ( Indiana) on Saturday at noon in a first round game.  The regular season Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Champions are currently ranked 15th in the AFCA Poll.
