The Lady Prophets returned from their holiday break on Thursday with a road game in Princeton.  It took three quarters for the Prophets to flex their muscle, but when they did the Tigers had no answer as the Prophets got the win 42-33.

The teams battled to a 21 all tie at halftime and the Prophets found themselves down by a bucket after the third quarter.  Then the Prophets hit the gas and ran away outscoring the Tigers 13-2 in the final frame.

Courtney Pierceson had 24 points getting half of them from the foul line.  She went 12/13 on the night from the line adding 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.  Dena Johnson had 7 points and 6 rebounds with Olivia-Hope Toppert adding 6 points and 3 rebounds.  Hannah McKinney added 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals.

Coach Kara Bumsted said," Courtney really took charge on the court tonight," adding "Our defense was well executed on the court tonight too."

The frosh-soph team also picked up a win besting the Tigers 39-27.  Mackenzie Glassburn had 20 points and 8 rebounds in the victory. Corrie Remley had 15 points and 9 rebounds on the night for the Prophets.
