Milem Reflects (video)

00:00 AM November 06, 2017

Two weeks ago, Panther varsity football coach, Chuck Milem turned in his resignation to the Erie School Board ending a ten year run.  Milem finished his reign with EP with a 34-60 overall record including 3 playoff appearances.  His 2013 team suffered two losses that season, one to eventual class 2A state champion Newman and a second round playoff loss to Stillman Valley who went on to win the 3A state title.

Milem, who teaches history at Erie High School, is married and has three children and is looking to move into educational administration.  He said he made his decision to turn in his resignation now in order to give the program plenty of time to seek out a replacement.

Milem sat down for an extended interview with Aroundptown to talk about his career with the Panthers.
