A long season started to show its affects on a few of the Panther Cross Country runners on Monday when they took part in Amboy's Columbus Day Invitational. Chris Link was about a minute off his usual time due to a leg issue, but overall the Panthers held their own against some of the top teams in the state.
EP took 8th in a field of 25 teams with 251 points. Ben DeNeve once again led the Panthers placing 38th in 17:17. Cameron arguably ran his best race of the season and placed 2nd for the Panthers in 45th just 8 seconds behind DeNeve. The Lady Panthers did not fair as well as they had hoped finishing 15th out of 23 teams. Jorden Robinson continues to impress as she placed 47th in 21:34 to finish first for the Panthers. Makayla Dornbush took 64th in 22:08 to claim second on the squad.
