The softball Panthers started their post-season run in style as they dispatched Sherrard 13-3 in 6 innings in the Alleman Regional semi-final.  EP will take on the winner of the Alleman-Princeton game on Friday at 4:30 in Rock Island for the regional championship.

The Panther's offense got off to a slow start as they trailed 2-1 going into their half of the third inning.  The offense then kicked into gear as they scored 3 runs in the third and followed that with a 7 run fourth inning.  They added single runs in the fifth and sixth for the 10 run win.

Freshman Jaden Johnson continued to punish opposing pitching as she went 3 for 4 with a double, scoring 4 times, and driving in 2 more.  The Panthers pounded out 12 hits including 6 doubles and collected 7 walks in the contest.

Erica Thulen was 2 for 3 with a double scoring twice and driving in a run.  Mackenzie Glassburn was also 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI.

Corrie Remley pitched a complete game for EP allowing 7 hits, but just 2 earned runs.  She struck out 3 and walked 1 and helped her cause at the plate smacking a double and driving in 2.
