Information provided by Mayor Kris Hill

During their November 6th meeting the Tampico Village Commissioners heard a proposal from Jim Pozzi of Republic Waste to extend  their existing contract, which is up in June of 2019.  Hill said the board will be allowing other waste companies to submit proposed contracts "in the best interest for our citizens."

Hill thanked Police Chief Terry Strike and officer Lukehardt for their kindness in purchasing candy out of their own pockets, to hand out on Halloween as they patrolled during treat or treat hours.

Commissioner Tim Church reported that the water infrastructure project is moving along as planned.  It is hoped that the project will go out for bid by Christmas.

The board's next meeting is Tuesday, November 20th at 7:00 p.m.
