The production will take place at Centennial Auditorium, Sterling High School, on Saturday, November 17th at 6:30pm and Sunday, November 18th at 2pm. The classic ballet features dancers ages 6-adult from Sterling, Rock Falls, Dixon, Morrison and Milledgeville who take dance classes at Woodlawn Dance Academy and other Sauk Valley area studios. The dancers rehearsed during Woodlawn’s “Nutcracker” Ballet Camp this summer; rehearsals are continuing this fall under the direction of Woodlawn Dance Academy instructors Christy Zepezauer, Becky Rich, Hillary Blevins and Erika Matheney.
Woodlawn Arts Academy is an agency of United Way of Whiteside & Lee Counties, and programs are partially funded by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
