Everyone is invited to the 3rd Annual Flock to the Rock on February 11, 2023. Head on down to the Lower Dam, 300 East 1st Street, Rock Falls between 9AM and 10AM to view the Eagles soaring around the Rock River, and don’t forget your cameras and binoculars! Then come on over to the Rock Falls Community Center Building, 601 W. 10th Street, Rock Falls at 10AM where we will have two educational speakers.

The first speaker will be Northern Illinois Raptor Rehab & Education and they will do an hour presentation with the use of “live” birds of prey, as well as educational displays. Our second speaker is Rudy Vallejo from the Kickapoo & Potawatomi Tribe. He will do a presentation about how the Bald Eagle symbolizes the Native American culture and will do an Eagle Dance of which the audience can participate.

From 10AM to 1PM, there will be nature-related vendors and the Salvation Army Sterling/Rock Falls will be selling hot chocolate, coffee, water, and walking tacos. This is event is free and welcomes all ages.
