It was truly an amazing and touching event as 11 couples, representing a remarkable 606 years of marriage, renewed their vows surrounded by family, friends, and the Resthave community, said Karla Burn, Marketing Director.
A special thank you goes to Rev. Dr. Mike Selburg, who officiated the ceremony. “Although this was his first time conducting a group vow renewal, he did a marvelous job, making the service both heartfelt and memorable. Thank you, Pastor Mike!”
The beautiful sunflower-themed décor brought warmth and cheer to the celebration. Many of the couples shared treasured keepsakes and photographs from their original weddings, adding a personal and meaningful touch to the day.
The gentlemen received boutonnieres, the ladies were presented with corsages, and everyone dressed up for the occasion, making the celebration feel even more special. Guests enjoyed a lovely reception featuring a small, tiered wedding cake, a lemonade bar, homemade mints, nuts, fresh fruit, salami, crackers, cheese, and Chex Mix.
Restahve would also like to extend their sincere appreciation to Pat Rosenow, the DJ whose music added to the joy of the day, and to the dedicated staff for their hard work in creating such a wonderful and heartwarming event. It was a beautiful day filled with love, memories, laughter, goosebumps, a few leaky eyes, and renewed commitments. It was truly a day to remember!
