The town hall will bring together all three Stark County mayors, SCCI leaders, the Stark County Board chairperson, the local school superintendent, business leaders, residents, and state legislators for an open and inclusive discussion on issues impacting the county and the region.
“This town hall is a great opportunity for residents of Stark County to have their voices heard and ensure that their priorities are being represented,” said Representative Weaver. “I would like to thank SCCI for sponsoring this event and also for their tireless work in promoting and elevating tourism and businesses in Stark County.”
“Thank you to SCCI and Stark County officials for putting together this opportunity for area elected officials to provide an update and address questions about state or local issues,” said Representative Spain, who represents the portion of Stark County including Bradford in the Illinois House.
“Last year, hundreds of people showed up for the Stark County Town Hall, making it the biggest town hall I was involved in all year,” Senator Arellano said. “I have immense respect for that incredible level of citizen involvement, and I’m excited to be part of the discussion again this year. Government works best when citizens are active!”
“Town halls like this give people a chance to speak directly with their elected officials about the issues affecting their communities,” said Senator Anderson. “I appreciate SCCI for bringing everyone together and look forward to the discussion.”
The event is open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and participate in the discussion.
