Under the stars, the band will present a program that showcases the variety and versatility of the concert band, offering something for audience members of every age.
The evening’s performance will feature the stirring Coat of Arms March, the lighthearted classic Tubby the Tuba, Scott Joplin’s spirited The Root Beer Rag, and the audience favorite I Love a Sousa March. Listeners will also enjoy the jazz tribute Satchmo!, the whimsical The Walking Frog, the adventurous Where No Man Has Gone Before, the exciting Whip and Spur Galop, and the timeless melodies of Suite from Carmen. In addition to the music, those attending the concert will be the first to hear a special announcement regarding the Dixon Municipal Band’s upcoming Spring Concert, making this season finale an event fans won’t want to miss.
