The event will honor veterans, including Robert “Bob” Insley Bonnell, a U.S. Navy Korean War veteran. The dinner is sponsored by Mexicali Rose Banquet Hall and will benefit the Valor Support Project, which supports local veterans.
Tickets are $15 per person, with only 160 tickets available. Tickets can be purchased by scanning the QR code included on event promotional materials.
The evening will feature a taco bar, beverages, complimentary water, fresh lemonade, iced tea, and coffee. Live music will be provided by Rustic Rhythms, and a silent auction will feature numerous gift baskets and other items.
Organizers said the event is the biggest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds from ticket sales will help the Valor Support Project provide assistance, resources, and hope to local veterans who have served the country.
The event’s message is centered on honoring veterans past and present and supporting those who have sacrificed for their country, with a goal of strengthening community support for veterans.
