Winter Weather Update: Wind Chill Advisory, Snowfall, and Dangerous Cold Ahead

Submitted

We continue with the Wind Chill Advisory until 9 a.m. this morning, with wind chills expected to drop as low as 20 to 25 below zero at times.

Beyond that, we are anticipating more snow and dangerous cold. Snowfall of 1-4 inches is generally expected in two rounds between tonight and Friday morning. This may result in travel impacts in parts of the area, especially during the second round late Thursday evening to Friday morning, as winds are forecasted to gust up to 35 mph, leading to blowing and drifting snow. More dangerous cold is expected for the end of the week into the weekend. Please refer to the attached graphic for more information.
