He married Mary Cunniff in June 1964. Bob worked at International Harvester Works, and later at the Moline Dispatch. He was a member of the Mineral Legion Post and a proud Veteran. One of his favorite memories was a trip with his son on the Honor Flight to Washington D.C. in 2022.
Bob enjoyed family get-togethers, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid reader and always looked forward to finding another good book at the Annawan-Alba Library. He followed the Annawan, Wethersfield, and Princeton sports teams for many years sharing his gift of photography. He was a life-long Cubs fan, and recently cheered for the NY Mets.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children Thomas (Gail) Jagers of Princeton, IL and Stephanie (Michael) Van Herzeele of Coralville, IA; Mary Jagers, Annawan, IL; five grandchildren: Erin (Mario) Zanaty, Matthew (Madison) Van Herzeele, Eric (Kitty) Jagers, Alex Jagers, and Ryan Jagers; and two great grandsons, Marc and Nicholas Zanaty.
