The varsity also hopes to get big contributions from juniors, Jennica Norman and Faith Baar. Sophomore, Roz Mosher had an outstanding season last year and is expected to be one of the top runners for the team. Freshmen that also hope to contribute on the varsity level include Avery Heaton, Leena Hanrahan, and Lilly Skinner.
The boys will return two of their top runners from last season with brothers Nathan and Braeden Punke. They will be joined by their freshman sibling Logan who led the EP middle school team last year. The team has plenty of depth and experienced runners who will be battling for varsity positions.
Both team will look to get back to the top of the Three Rivers Conference with the boys squad looking to extend their streak of IHSA Sectional appearances to seventeen with the girls only failing to make it twice in that time span.
