They will have 8th Ave. between the Erie Public Library and the Methodist Church closed off for the event. This area will allow the kids to go from the Methodist church, down to the police department and then back to the Christian Church with a lot of trick or treat spots to hit up without having to worry about too many cars.
There will be spaces available for any local community members, local businesses, churches and high school kids in need of volunteer hours to host a table or trunk. All you have to do is decorate either a table or a trunk in any theme that you would like and bring your Halloween candy or items to hand out to the kids!
Revitalize Erie will be giving away three cash prizes in the following categories: Most Creative – $25, Scariest – $25, and Best Overall – $50. If you are interested in reserving a space, contact Revitalize Erie or text/call Danae at (309) 716-7599. The deadline to sign-up will be October 28th.
