That is the best 9 hole score the team has put together this year and it came at a good time against a strong Rocket team who was missing one of their better players.
Rockridge senior Hudson Connelly had a medalist score of even par 36.
The Panthers though followed that up with three golfers all shooting 38. Grayson Johnson, Gavin VanDyke and Sawyer Copeland all had outstanding rounds of just 2 over par. Brady Timmerman, who made an eagle on number 7 when his 125 yard nine iron went in the hole, rounded out the EP scoring with a 40. Callen Keegan came in at 45 and Brevin VanDyke posted a 46 for the Panthers.
Keegan Ryan with a 42 and Chris Pyse at 44 led the JV squad who also defeated the Rockets.
The Panthers, who are fresh off a Kewanee Invite championship last weekend, travel to Sunset Golf in Mt. Morris Saturday for the Oregon Invite.
