  1. I grew up with you, Sheila and the kids..loved spending time watching funny movies, playing with the dogs and Beaker, swimming and he took me out driving on the gravel roads because everyone warned me not to take lessons from my mom (as a joke). My childhood was beautiful and especially with you in it Uncle Brian. We talked a few times over the years and it was a pleasant conversation. I hope you are at peace and in the Lord’s arms.

  2. You were a valued member of the family. Living out of state we didn’t see you much, but you always made us feel welcome. My favorite memory is you and Sheila bringing a truck full of Illinois sweetcorn to Michigan! We had a great time at Dad’s. Rest in peace Brian.

  3. Where do I begin to talk about this bright light? Brian was always a bit of sunlight when he came into the room. He was kind and generous and a hard worker who loved his family deeply. I was privileged to be family, spending time in his home with Josh and Marcy, and then as an adult was friend too. We played on the worship team together at Prophetstown AC and I was able to witness his heart that grew in faith at that time. He has left a mark of laughter, kindness, and Godly peace in the midst of struggle. Josh, Marcy and family, I’m so sorry I can’t be there to hug you in this time of loss and grief. I am thinking of you, praying for you and want you to know how much your dad blessed me. May you know the peace of God that your dad knew as you go down this journey of grief. Please know I am praying for you as well. Much love today and always. “May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7
    Love, Kim

  8. I haven’t known him for long but he was a really nice guy. I enjoyed listening to him play in the band and listening to his stories at church. I’m so sorry to hear this. He will be missed.
