EP falls to 18-9-2 while the Fillies improve to 16-15.
Morrison took the first set 28-26 and closed out the match with a 25-19 second set win.
Alaina Frank led EP with 6 kills and 7 digs. Zoey Stuart had 5 blocks and 3 kills.
“Unfortunately, we played the whole night on our heels and never flipped the switch to become the aggressor,” said EP coach Rachel Bramm. “We had a nice long heart-to-heart in the locker room after the game, which can hopefully get us back on track for our next contest tomorrow against Kewanee. It’s a game with high stakes, as it will determine the TRAC East division title.”
The Lady Panthers will complete their regular season on Tuesday at Kewanee.
