About Public Notices on AroundPtown.com
Public entities are required by law to post public notices in a newspaper that serves their community. At this time, the Illinois Press Association does not recognize online publications as meeting this legal requirement. While publishing a public notice on AroundPtown.com WILL NOT fulfill your legal obligation, we believe that it is an additional and more effective method of conveying the information to residents, which is the point of the process.
