The Morrison Kiwanis and Morrison High School's Key Club hosted their annual Easter Egg Hunt at Kiwanis Park in Morrison on Saturday, March 23.

There was a flurry of activity as the kids were given the go-ahead to scoop up as many treat-filled eggs as possible. There were four age groups and plenty of candy and prizes to go around.

Besides the sweets in the eggs, some had winning tickets for special Easter baskets, as well as coupons from Family Chef, Happy Joe’s, Dairy Queen, and McDonald’s. Katherine Frederick provided special treats to those who couldn’t have candy.

The Easter Bunny also made a special appearance and greeted all the kids after arriving on a firetruck. The event was free and though it was a bit chilly outside, it was well-attended.
