Mother-Daughter Banquet & Program in Morrison on May 12

Submitted

The women of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison will host their annual dinner and program on Tuesday, May 12th to celebrate faith, family, and friendship.

The dinner will begin at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall and tickets may be purchased by stopping by the church office at 309 East Park (open from 9-1 p.m. Monday-Friday), or by calling the office at 815-772-2472. Tickets are priced at $20/adults and $10 for children 10 & younger.

The program, to be held in the sanctuary, will follow at 7 p.m. and is free to the public. The featured speaker will be Mrs. Aubrey (Munson) Krueger of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, and formerly of Sterling. She will bring a message of hope of how she overcame a difficult time in her life. Shortly after the birth of her first child, Aubrey suffered from post-partem psychosis, an extremely rare mental health disorder. For five years she struggled and through it all leaned on the support of her family and her strong faith in God to find restoration and healing. She has now started a new career and ministers to women of all ages through therapy and dance movement. Her organization is called RISE UP AGAIN—and, Aubrey has done just that as she rose up from a deep, dark pit of despair and fear to recover her health and be made whole once again. She will inspire you with her message of hope and faith in Christ.

Come for both events—dinner at 6 followed by the program at 7, or just the program, which is free of charge. If you have questions you may call Sue at the church office at the number above.
