Every time a student read a book, they got to enter their name into the drawing, and the more they read the better chances they had of winning. The program ran from February 1st until the middle of April. There were three winners from each grade, with the Masonic Lodge providing nine bikes for the grand prizes.
The Masons delivered the bikes to the school on Friday, May 15th, along with a brand new bike helmet. The Prophetstown Masonic Lodge thanks the PLT#3 School District for participating in the program, and Rod’s Repair Inc. of Morrison for donating all the bike helmets.
The Lodge also congratulates the winners of the Arlyn Koehler Scholarship: Justin Wainscott and Shelby Hodgett; and the winners of the Masonic Lodge Scholarship: Aedan Thompson and Cadence Bollman.
