This program will feature Nancy Willis and she tells the story of Facemakers Inc., a Savanna-based company that manufactures costumes and team mascots. Nancy has worked for Facemakers since 1985, when she was the company president’s personal seamstress. She then transitioned to the Facemaker’s building in 1999.
Nancy has personally made thousands of costumes. There is only one person who has been associated with the company longer than her, and that is the owner/president, Alan St. George.
The building, located across from the windmill at the corner of 10th Ave. and 1st St. in Fulton, is disability accessible. The program is partially funded through a grant from the D.S. Flikkema Foundation and is free and open to the public. Light refreshments follow the program. If any questions, call 563-249-6115.
