The rescheduled event at Richmond Park will feature food trucks, live music, and a free movie showing at dusk. Vendors include The Smashing Cow Food Truck, Sweet Butts Cotton Candy, and B’s Lemonade Shake-Ups starting at 6 p.m. Acoustic music from U-Cantu will be provided from 6-8 p.m.
Attendees are invited to bring chairs, blankets, or golf carts to sit on to enjoy the refreshments and movie showing. The United Way has donated movie snacks for the first 100 children.
Mayor Tyler Scott says, “We just want to take this opportunity to offer an event for the community, especially the kids of Lyndon and surrounding areas. Providing community events and amenities for families and kids to enjoy together is a top priority for the Village of Lyndon Board. We hope to see local families at Richmond Park
enjoying themselves.”
Food trucks will open for business at 6:00 p.m., music will begin around 6 p.m., and the movie will begin at dusk, or around 8 p.m. Find more information on the Village of Lyndon Facebook page.
