Over the past few weeks Fred South has shared two articles about Prophetstown’s beloved Kids’ Day.
One dealt with the history of the event and the notoriety it brought to the town, Article, the other was a profile on the evolution of the day as it transformed from Rooster Booster Day to Kids’ Day. Article
This time South reminds us that health concerns causing cancellation of events is not just a recent phenomena, but that a scenario, much like Covid, caused a Kids’ Day to be cancelled.
