The Panthers handled the Orion Chargers 39-6 last Friday while the Rockets had their first setback of the season in a 26-7 loss to Riverdale.
The contest will feature two of the best quarterbacks in the conference as Rockridge’s Colin Schweigen, last year’s TRAC offensive player of the year and three-year starter, goes against the Panther’s Evan Steimle who has led EP to their best start in co-op history in his first season at quarterback.
The game has big implications for the conference championship with three teams still very much alive for the title.
In this week’s edition of Panther Points Preview, Panther coach Tyler Whitebread talks about the win over Orion, areas of improvement on the team, the continuing contributions made by sophomore players, and what he sees as the keys to this week’s game.
