The Lady Panthers bounced back from their opening night loss on Monday to pick up a win at Bureau Valley on Tuesday.
After dropping the first set 25-22, the Panthers roared back to take the final sets 25-21, 25-19.
EP coach Rachel Bramm was pleased with the way her team adjusted during the match. “BV is always a very tough, scrappy team, so we knew that we had our work cut out for us in this game. We struggled to finish the first set and forced ourselves to win the hard way. The girls did a great job making adjustments in the second and third sets, as well as pushing through some major momentum swings that didn’t go in our favor. I’m very proud of the effort that we put forth tonight after a tough loss to Orion the night before. We’ve got our first win under our belt for the season, and we’re ready to get many more!”
