Ava Grawe had a 2 run homer along with 2 other hits to lead the Panthers. Alyssah Padia, Leah Richmond and Ayden Klendworth also connected for round trippers as part of the Panther 15 hit attack. Chloe Hamilton had 3 singles to get some run scoring innings started.
Klendworth was outstanding on the mound also, as she allowed no earned runs, only 3 hits, 1 walk and struck out 10 Comet batters.
The 7-5 Panthers return to action Friday afternoon (weather permitting) as they travel to Sherrard to battle the Tigers starting at 4 p.m.
