Get ready to unleash your creativity at the 2026 Coloring Contest! The Morrison Garden Club will be sponsoring this event along with help from Odell Public Library.

This year’s theme of the coloring pages will be tied into the Library’s Summer Reading program theme. Organizers added an older age group this year, with the contest open to all children up to 13 years old. This fun event is divided into 4 age groups: under 5, 6-8, 9-10, and 11–13-year-olds.

To participate, pick up your official coloring page and rules from the Odell Public Library starting Monday, June 1st. Remember, each child can submit only one entry, and it must be their own artwork, completed on the official page for their age group.

You can use any coloring tools you like—crayons, markers, colored pencils, paints—the choice is yours! Just be sure to include your name, age, and a contact name with a phone number on the back of your entry to qualify for the contest. A prize basket will be given to one lucky artist in each age group. They will be on display at the library.

All masterpieces must be turned in by Wednesday, July 1st, at the library. After judging, winning entries will be proudly displayed for everyone to admire.

Don’t miss this chance to have fun and show off your artistic skills at Odell Public Library, located at 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison. They can’t wait to see your colorful creations!
