- An Enhanced ( level 3 of 5 ) Risk is forecast for areas along and north of Interstate 80 today and tonight. A Slight, level 2 risk is forecast farther south.
- After a morning round of storms with gusty winds and heavy rain, a hot and humid day will be expected, with some areas seeing over 100 degree heat index.
- Numerous severe storms are forecast late this afternoon through late this evening, as individual storms merge into one or more squall lines. Damaging winds over 75 mph and tornadoes are possible this evening
