The workshop is being hosted by local herbalist and owner of Nettle Wood Herbs, Amanda Norris, who will be teaching about wild medicine herbs you can grow in your own backyard.
The program will be on Saturday, August 15th at 9 a.m. She will introduce the class to the wild, wonderful world of weeds-wild medicines overlooked everyday. What is a weed? Do you see a weed or do you see medicine? That weed in your lawn that you hate could become one of your favorite plants!
Join us to learn about the amazing edible and medicinal uses of common backyard “weeds.” Amanda will be teaching about wild medicine herbs you can grow in your own backyard and some you may have overlooked. This class is free and open to the public!
