The Tampico Area Historical Society invites the community to join in the excitement at the annual fundraiser event on November 4, at the Reagan Community Center.

The event, slated from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., promises an evening of chili, fellowship, and community spirit.

Attendees can indulge in a variety of chili recipes prepared by local enthusiasts and participate in the highly anticipated “Chili Bull” competition, where culinary maestros battle for the title of the village’s favorite chili. Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for kids aged 15 and under. The evening’s festivities will culminate in the announcement of awards at 7:30 p.m.

Beyond the tantalizing chili offerings, the event boasts an array of activities suitable for all ages. Highlights include a dessert auction and bake sale, a kids’ drawing contest, a fall selfie station, and friendly bags games. This celebration of community and heritage is not only a delightful way to spend an evening but also an opportunity to contribute to the preservation of Tampico’s rich history.

All proceeds from this event will go towards the much-needed repairs and upkeep of the Tampico Area History Museum. It’s an opportunity to celebrate community spirit, enjoy delicious chili, and contribute to preserving the heritage of Tampico. Don’t miss out on this Village Friendsgiving event!
