Residents are asked to try to avoid using water while hydrants are being flushed in their area. After the flushing operation is completed:
- Open cold water faucets and let water flow until it is clear.
- Do the same with hot water faucets.
- Check faucet screens for trapped particles.
- Wash a load or two of dark-colored clothes first.
Water is ready to use as normal when both hot and cold water are clear. Questions or concerns should be directed to Tampico Village Hall at 815-438-2505.
