By Sarah Ford, AP Staff Writer

The first Morrison Historical Society program of 2024 will be on Sunday, April 28 at Morrison’s Heritage Museum, 202 E. Lincolnway.

Morrison resident and skilled photographer Steve Siefken will share a recent selection of his nature images during a program entitled “An Explosion of Color.” He’ll showcase some vibrant scenes of flowers, birds, and butterflies, as well as a few small stories behind the images.

Doors will open at 1:00 p.m. and the program begins at 1:30. Light refreshments will be served, and the building is accessible to all. The program is free and open to the public.

The Heritage Museum is open from 1-4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, April 28 through November 17, and it’s also available for meetings and private tours by appointment. Contact the museum at 815-772-8889 or Harvey Zuidema at 815-772-3084 for more information.

If you or someone you know is interested in presenting a historical topic of interest to the community, please contact Stephanie Vavra at 815-535-7005.
