MCH was proud to dedicate their new Family Care Clinic in Dr. Vandermyde’s honor—a fitting tribute to a physician who cared for generations of families in our community. Dr. Vandermyde not only delivered many of the patients who now receive care at the Family Care Clinic, but he also generously donated a substantial portion of his estate to help make this clinic a reality.
MCH was honored to welcome members of Dr. Vandermyde’s family for the sign dedication. Pictured below are Michael (husband of Rachel), Mark and Debbie’s daughter, Rachel; Rachel’s mother and Mark’s wife, Debbie; oldest son Mark, youngest son Scott and second oldest Bill. Son Steve, who was attending his son’s wedding, was unable to attend.
Morrison Community Hospital CEO Pam Pfister accepted the generous donation on behalf of the hospital and joined Mark, Bill and Scott in honoring Dr. Vandermyde’s remarkable legacy.
