The parade will step off at 5:30 p.m., making its way through downtown Sterling before ending at the Library Plaza tree, where Santa will help officially kick off the holiday season with the annual Tree Lighting.
Businesses, organizations, clubs, families and individuals are invited to join the fun and help light up downtown Sterling. Lighted golf carts, UTVs, trucks, trailers, floats and other festive entries are welcome. Participants are encouraged to deck out their entries in lights and holiday spirit.
Parade registration and additional participation details will be announced soon on the City of Sterling Facebook page.
The parade will be part of a full evening of Sights & Sounds festivities on Friday, December 4th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., including visits with Santa, family activities, downtown shopping and dining, and other holiday experiences.
