Many of you most likely know that Prophetstown was the site of a Native American village called The Prophet’s Town. The particular tribe was the Winnebago, led by Wabokiesheik whose English name was White Cloud. This was only one of many native villages along the Rock River.
Farm fans young and old visited the grounds of the AETA over the past weekend for a nostalgic look at the agriculture industry.
The AETA is located at 13451 IL Hwy 92, (just west of Hwy 82) Geneseo, with free parking on the grounds
A public health emergency caused Kids’ Day 1946 to be cancelled.
